I became a social worker and a therapist because my most central values are the pursuit of social justice and empathy. In my own life, I have experienced the power of therapy as a queer and neurodivergent human with complex trauma. I know the vital importance of being affirmed for who you truly are in a safe space. I utilize a person-centered approach and believe that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' method to recovery.
I can provide interventions such as Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) all through the lens of trauma-informed care. I can help you develop resiliency and experience post-traumatic growth to live your most meaningful life. I can also guide you in navigating systems that are rooted in oppression. I strive to be honest, flexible, compassionate, and to treat you as the expert of your own lived experience.
