“I aim to create a supportive and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work through challenges and build healthier patterns.”
As a teenager, therapy gave me an outlet and a source of support during some of my lowest moments. While struggling with anxiety and depression, it helped me work through challenges that once felt overwhelming, and it allowed me to uncover and begin healing wounds I had not even recognized. That experience changed the trajectory of my life, guiding me toward becoming more confident and self assured. My therapist had a profound impact on me, and having a nonjudgmental space to be heard was essential to my growth at the time. That experience inspired to pursue a degree in mental health counseling at Temple University.
I aim to create a supportive and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work through challenges and build healthier patterns. I also strive to make therapy a fun and comfortable space where it feels like you are talking with a close friend. I am especially passionate about bridging the gap between mental health care and the Hispanic community by offering care that honors clients’ cultural identity and experiences. As a former collegiate athlete, I understand the drive to push through even at our lowest points, whether for others, our responsibilities, or ourselves, and I also recognize the toll that mindset can take. I am passionate about working with women who may feel it is too late to seek help, supporting them as they rediscover themselves and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. I am also committed to working with young adults who want to break generational cycles and build a stronger, healthier future for themselves.
I love to travel and experience different cultures. My favorite country so far has been Spain because of its food, and my partner is from there.
I love to cook, but I do not like following recipes, so my food comes out a little different every time, but always full of love.
I love crafting and use it as an outlet for self care.
My favorite show of all time is Avatar The Last Airbender.
I played competitive volleyball for 12 years and competed at the Division I level in college.
