As a highly sensitive person and former teacher, I understand how difficult it can be to take care of yourself when you’re feeling overwhelmed.
Therapy is a place for you to feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered. My aim is to create a safe and nurturing space where you can show up exactly as you are. In our work together, we’ll focus on helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs so you can make changes that feel meaningful to you.
I’m passionate about supporting women experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self esteem issues, relationship issues, and work and career concerns. I have a special interest in helping highly sensitive women and women in helping professions. As a highly sensitive person and former teacher, I understand how difficult it can be to take care of yourself when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Therapy has been essential in helping me break free from anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt and make changes that bring a sense of fulfillment. I love drawing from my formal training and personal experience to help you manage overwhelming emotions, understand your needs, embrace your strengths, and find peace and balance.
My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, bringing empathy, curiosity, and nonjudgmental support into the therapeutic space. I guide you through exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences and making meaningful changes that honor your needs and values. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll help you gain insight, develop self-compassion, navigate challenges, and live a more balanced and fulfilling life. I’d be honored to be a part of your healing journey!
