“Life is filled with challenges, and I strive to create an empathetic, safe and empowering environment where you can begin healing.”
I believe the most important element of therapy is fostering an authentic, compassionate connection with my clients to help honor their strength and resilience. I strive to create a judgment free space to help folks process their life challenges as they work to actualize the healthiest, happiest version of themselves.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples with trauma (especially intergenerational trauma), complex family dynamics, anxiety and substance use. Using an eclectic blend of Family Systems Theory, EMDR, and Narrative Therapy, I strive to provide trauma informed care to each of my clients.I am passionate about helping my clients develop the emotional regulation skills, healthy boundaries, and self-care practices to make meaningful and sustainable changes to improve their relationships and mental health.
Utilizing years of clinical experience, I work hand in hand with my clients to help them understand how early childhood experiences shape the way we move through the world. I am thrilled to be able to use this perspective, alongside the Gottman Method, to help folks understand how those experiences are showing up in their present day relationships.
One of the most transformative tools I use is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which can help release trapped emotions and memories that traditional talk therapy alone might not reach. I’ve witnessed remarkable breakthroughs as clients process past trauma and finally feel relief from symptoms that have haunted them for years. Life is filled with so many challenges, and I aim to create an empathetic, safe and empowering environment where you can begin healing. I look forward to meeting you!
