“Life is filled with challenges, and I strive to create an empathetic, safe and empowering environment where you can begin healing.”
Have you ever felt stuck in patterns that you know aren’t serving you, but aren’t sure how to break free? Through my own journey with substance use, depression, and relationship struggles, I know how important it is to find a therapist that “gets it”. Now, with a decade of experience in behavioral and mental health, I’m passionate about helping others find their path to healing.
The most important element of therapy is fostering an authentic, compassionate connection with my clients to help honor their strength and resilience throughout the healing journey. I believe in creating a judgment free space to help individuals process their life challenges as they work to actualize the healthiest, happiest version of themselves.
I specialize in working with individuals with trauma (especially intergenerational trauma), complex family dynamics, anxiety and substance use. I use an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Theory to provide trauma informed care to each of my clients. I love helping my clients develop the emotional regulation skills, healthy boundaries, and self-care practices to make meaningful and sustainable changes to improve their relationships and mental health.
One of the most transformative tools I use is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which can help release trapped emotions and memories that traditional talk therapy alone might not reach. I’ve witnessed remarkable breakthroughs as clients process past trauma and finally feel relief from symptoms that have haunted them for years.
As someone who has been impacted by family substance use and dysfunction, I am particularly passionate about working with Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOAs). Having walked this path myself, I understand how these early experiences shape our relationships, mental health, and the way we move through the world. I also offer couples counseling and am trained in Gottman Method.
Life is filled with challenges, and I strive to create an empathetic, safe and empowering environment where you can begin healing. I look forward to meeting you!

Spending time outdoors with my dogs; napping and binge reading a book off of my never ending "must read" list.

Falling flat on my face and getting back up. To say that I'm stubborn, is an understatement. I almost always need to learn the hard way.
Glacier National Park in Montana, where I ugly cried almost the entire trip because I was so overwhelmed with the beauty all around me.
