After my first child, I developed postpartum depression. I felt alone and anxious due to the stigma of maternal mental health. I went back to therapy and found the ability to balance self-care and motherhood without feeling guilty. Through my support systems, I was able to find a new addition to my identity; that of a mother. After going through my maternal mental health journey, I recognized that there are so many women who are going through their struggles alone. My goal is to be that person for someone who is struggling and find their inner strength and recognize that they can get through anything that life gives them. I also understand the importance of couples postpartum and enjoy supporting them in rebuilding their connection and sexual connection again after a baby.

I create a safe, warm and nonjudgmental space and provide a collaborative environment with each individual to help guide and challenge them to find their own inner strength and self-compassion. Additionally, I work with each individual to recognize their struggles and emotions non judgmentally to allow room for growth and achieve their goals. I have work with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, perinatal mental health, gender and sexuality, bipolar and borderline personality disorder. I use modalities such as Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness practice. I am also an ally and advocate for BIPOC and LQBTQ+ communities.
