“I am passionate about helping people have great relationships… whether that is with friends, your partner, family or anyone important in your life.”
Have you ever felt misunderstood or disconnected from your own experience? Maybe you feel misunderstood by your partner, and are seeking support. Whether you’re experiencing natural anxieties, feeling overwhelmed, or looking to process difficult feelings and experiences. I’m glad you’re here! I specialize in helping adults, teens and couples with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief, self-esteem and communication.
I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from an intentional, safe, supportive, empathetic space and companion. We are all doing the best we can with the tools that we have, so I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to assist you in developing strategies for regulating your emotions, communicating your feelings, and identifying your values. For couples, I am highly trained in the Gottman Method and will help you and your partner learn how to communicate effectively and use conflict to strengthen your relationship. I also offer couples intensive sessions. In a weekend, we can address and work through issues more quickly than in weekly sessions, providing a more immersive and in-depth experience. Intensive counseling can be particularly beneficial for couples in crisis or those who are looking to make significant progress in a short period of time.
I am passionate about helping people have great relationships… whether that is with friends, your partner, family or anyone important in your life. Modern dating and relationships have become a tumultuous territory of uncertainty, miscommunication, rampant ghosting and infidelity. Friendships have become increasingly harder to navigate, and the desire to build and maintain community remains higher than ever. The state of the world has left us feeling helpless. We may feel disconnected from our families, our peers, our jobs, our personal identities, and our places in society. Regardless of what you are looking for, I want you to feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges. I am here to help you break that cycle by choosing healing instead.
Sleeping in, watching the latest Netflix true crime series, followed by a night of playing board games with friends!
I have never met a dessert I didn’t like, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be red velvet cake with buttercream frosting.
I love the moments when a client says, “I never thought about it like that before!” Seeing someone’s perspective change in a way that provides them peace and clarity.
Acceptance of what I can’t control or change.
