“I utilize a person-centered approach to therapy and tailor our sessions to your needs.”
Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by how the brain works and how it influences our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. In college, I studied the impacts that trauma has on our brains through neuroscience research. I always thought I would have a career in a research lab, until I had my first internship at a private practice. There, I saw the impact of therapy and watched the power of human connection unfold.
With over a decade of experience working with addiction and mental health, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to grow into their best self. I utilize a person-centered approach to therapy and tailor our sessions to your needs. I use evidenced based practices in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I am trauma informed and believe you are the expert of your own life. Having a strong support system can help individuals prevail over challenges and maintain a state of physical and mental well-being – let’s connect so I can be a support to you!
I would love to sit down to a meal with Anthony Bourdain. I am a huge fan of his and enjoyed watching his shows on television. He was a great storyteller and I loved how he made food and travel about connection to humanity.
I am a proud recipient of my high school’s “Most Friendliest” Award two years in a row.
Ireland. I was fascinated to see a new place, eat local food, and see how other people around the world live. We traveled down the west coast of Ireland. The beaches are so beautiful, and the food was amazing!
My clients are always my greatest teacher I am always learning so much from them. And my niece and nephew. I enjoy getting to see the world through their eyes and watching them grow.
