“My experience in body-based therapy as well as cognitive processing allows me to take a holistic, whole-person approach to therapy.”
Through my own self-work, I learned that my empathy and compassion are my biggest strengths. I use an eclectic, person-centered, and strength-based framework to help women see their unique strengths. Watching them blossom and shift unhelpful beliefs to ones that promote positivity and growth is what I live for.
I have been trained in and often incorporate Mindfulness techniques, somatic interventions, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy interventions to help clients gain awareness and understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Additionally, I have extensive training in dance/movement therapy, which allows me to use body-based interventions to help clients become more aware of and understand their physical sensations and emotions. Sessions are tailored to individual needs through ongoing communication.
