“I work hard to ensure that my clients feel safe and empowered to express themselves and their needs authentically, creating an ideal environment for reflection and sustainable change.”
My experience on the other side of the “couch” has afforded me the opportunity to see that real change is possible when we recognize that we deserve to ask for help. Seeking support through therapy is an invaluable experience, and it’s an honor and a privilege to be a part of the process.
My therapeutic style is interactive, warm, and compassionate. I bring together psychodynamic psychotherapy with my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), presenting opportunities to reflect and identify underlying issues, while also offering skills and tools to use in moments of great distress.
I specialize in the treatment of Eating Disorders, and use a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to treatment and can offer resources and support in creating a positive environment for those struggling with their relationships with food and body image. I work with individuals with a variety of eating disorders across the lifespan, as well as its impact on the family.
I am also especially passionate about working with teens, and understand how as a parent it can be scary and confusing to watch your child struggle. With my extensive experience working with families and teens, I take a collaborative, systemic, and strengths-based approach to care.
I also work with clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression and grief. My goal is to help you identify places you are stuck and create change. Together, I will help you feel more confident and make choices that lead to a more fulfilling life.
The relationship between you and your therapist is essential in the therapeutic process. I take great pride in providing a space for collaboration, working with my clients to create individual treatment plans that best support them in meeting their own therapeutic goals. I work hard to ensure that my clients feel safe and empowered to express themselves and their needs authentically, creating an ideal environment for reflection and sustainable change.
