After growing up with a sick parent and losing my dad in my early 20s, I know what it’s like to feel “lost”. Through working on my own mental health, I’ve learned how to navigate grief and face my anxiety. With a decade in the field, I have dedicated my career to supporting adult women struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, eating disorders, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy is all about self compassion and connection. I will help you identify your strengths and learn resilience as you face the challenges of life. Life may not get *easier* for us, but we can get better at effectively dealing with it. I am not just a sit and nod therapist. I use my training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Health at Every Size to teach you coping skills and how to build a greater quality of life.

I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and I strongly believe that setting boundaries and learning to use self care can lead to a happier, more peaceful you. Sometimes, we get stuck in patterns that might have been helpful at some point in our lives but no longer serve us. In our work together, we'll gently explore the past, so we can create an action plan for a different future.

Starting therapy can be overwhelming, but it is also the ultimate act of self love and self care. I look forward to meeting you and helping you heal.
