For as long as I can remember I knew that I wanted to become a therapist. I have always been a highly sensitive person, and I connect deeply with what those around me are experiencing. This is also connected to my own experiences with anxiety and depression. I found healing for myself when I allowed myself to ask for and accept the same thing I was offering to those around me.

I believe that the relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most, if not the most, important things about therapy. It’s important to me to bring my all of my humanity into the therapeutic relationship, and to meet each person wherever they are, responding to them as an individual. My style in therapy is calm and compassionate, but I don’t shy away from the hard work that sometimes needs to be done in order to facilitate change. I am committed to working
collaboratively to set goals for therapy and supporting you in reaching those goals. My theoretical foundations and training are in the Unified Protocol, as well as Cognitive Processing Therapy. I believe therapy is an incredibly helpful tool in building awareness of our self and the patterns that can sometimes get in our way, especially during times of challenge and crisis.

It’s a tie for me between taking a hike to a gorgeous vista, or connecting mindfully to my body with yoga.
