As a therapist, my goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and compassionate space where clients feel empowered to identify, explore, and nurture their values and goals.
Having immigrated to the United States at a young age, I faced numerous challenges and insecurities that have shaped my personal and professional growth. Through therapy, I gained the courage to navigate the complexities of acculturation, gender, and sexuality while learning to align my actions with my values and embrace accountability. This process taught me that growth, while often challenging, is deeply rewarding.
I am passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals and women navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use, and body image. My therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, incorporating elements of mindfulness and systems-based frameworks. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Villanova University. My prior work focused on health inequities and discrimination within the LGBTQ+ community, the research I conducted continues to inform my practice.
As a therapist, my goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and compassionate space where clients feel empowered to identify, explore, and nurture their values and goals. I strive to provide a supportive environment to foster self-discovery and growth while being transparent about the challenges inherent in the process. It may not be easy but it leads to long-term improvement and resilience. I look forward to working together and traveling alongside you on your journey to wellness!
My dads sukiyaki (Japanese hotpot), the perfect meal for a cold day!
Black hot or iced. I love the natural aroma and taste of coffee.
I taught myself how to bake 4 tier cakes during the pandemic as well as other pastries. In another life, I would have been a pastry chef!
