I’m committed to helping women recognize their inherent worth, find their voice, and cultivate the confidence to live authentically and pursue their aspirations.

My personal experience with therapy after my parents divorce and mother’s death with breast cancer has shown me that real change is possible when we recognize that we deserve to ask for help. The guidance and support of these therapists changed my life. Seeking support through therapy is an invaluable experience, and it’s an honor and a privilege to be a part of this process with my clients.

My specialties include: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Parenting struggles, Relationship Issues and Life transitions (such as career changes or new parenthood). I work with individuals, teens, parents, couples and families navigating life’s complexities.

My therapeutic style is interactive, warm, and compassionate. I bring together various approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), presenting opportunities to reflect and identify underlying issues while also offering skills and tools to use in tough moments.  We all exist in the context of our families, relationships, communities, and the socio-cultural systems that shape us. Through this systemic lens, I help clients create lasting change and healthier connections with themselves and others.

I’m particularly attuned to the unique challenges women face in today’s world. Whether you’re juggling career and family, navigating societal expectations, dealing with body image issues, or seeking to redefine your identity, I provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore these concerns. I’m committed to helping women recognize their inherent worth, find their voice, and cultivate the confidence to live authentically and pursue their aspirations.

As a parent myself, I understand how challenging and confusing it can be to watch your child struggle. With my experience working with families and teens, I take a collaborative, systemic, and strengths-based approach to care. I am also passionate about working with adolescents. Teens face more challenges than ever in this day and age, and I love being able to help them navigate anxiety, depression, school stress, avoidance and more.

For couples, I am trained in the Gottman Method and take an active approach in sessions. I help couples slow down communication and pay closer attention to each other’s emotions, attachments, and needs. Whether you’re looking to reconnect after a breach of trust, navigate a big life transition, or simply deepen your connection, I’m here to support you and strengthen your relationship.

The relationship between you and your therapist is essential in the therapeutic process. I take great pride in providing a space for collaboration. I work hard to ensure that my clients feel safe and empowered to express themselves and their needs. Life never stops being challenging, but we can learn to ride the wave and take care of ourselves. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey towards growth, insight, and healing.

Ideal Saturday?

A little sleep in, hot yoga, some time to play piano or curl up with a book, afternoon card games with the kids, a leisurely dinner I didn’t have to prepare, and maybe some live music!

What are you working on in your life currently?

I’m doing parts work with my therapist to try to be present with the parts of myself that may have been overly protected for some time (fear, grief).

Favorite way to move your body?

Dancing! (much to my kids’ embarrassment), hiking, and swimming

Who do you wish you could have dinner with?

George Sand - she was a trouble-making, feminist writer who also got to lie underneath the piano while Chopin played. Hero.

“No practice has helped me the way Therapy for Women has.”

“I have been to many therapists for trauma work but no practice has helped me the way Therapy for Women has. This practice is based on mutual trust. Your therapist will happily share bits of their own life experiences. This always makes me feel less alone in what I am experiencing and make sessions feel so comfortable. I really think this practice is something special and I am SO happy I found it when I did.”

“Therapy for Women empowers clients to see change in themselves.

“Therapy for Women offers a fresh and modern approach to therapy which involves empowering clients to see change in themselves. They give you tools to supplement what’s talked about in session so you can go home and practice life skills. This step has been so crucial for my long-term recovery and emotional stability. The therapists genuinely care for each client. No matter why you go to Therapy for Women, these women WILL change your life. I really can’t thank them enough.”

“Therapy for Women has saved my life and then stuck with me to help me rebuild it from the bottom up.”

“In addition to individual therapy, I'm in a weekly group. I've created wonderful friendships here. It's also functioned as a safe space for me to experiment with things like stating my needs, getting vulnerable, setting boundaries, and receiving feedback from a non-therapist. Therapy for Women has saved my life and then stuck with me to help me rebuild it from the bottom up.”

“They just genuinely care about their patients.”

"I found this center when I needed it most in life. They matched me with a few therapists and first time was a charm. The center itself is very quick to act if you need anything. I see a psychiatrist within the practice as well and he too is amazing. They just genuinely care about their patients. You don’t feel like a time slot to them."

“…the very first therapist they hooked me up with was my perfect match.”

"Finding the right therapist is the hardest journey when you are already at your worst. I've tried multiple and none were working for me. But then I was told about Therapy for Women Center and the very first therapist they hooked me up with was my perfect match. We've been together coming on 2 years and she has really been amazing."

“The office has a soothing atmosphere, you immediately feel comfortable and at ease.”

"Happy to have found Therapy for Women Center. I can feel a change in my thinking and lifestyle and it is a huge difference from a year ago. So grateful! The office has a soothing atmosphere, you immediately feel comfortable and at ease."
