Experiencing several significant losses, struggling with my own physical health, and depression early in life served to help me recognize a deep sensitivity for the pain that people carry.
As a therapist it is imperative that I don’t ask a client to go somewhere I am not willing to go. Creating a space that is safe, welcoming and free of judgment is key to lay the groundwork for a client to express and create openness. I consider it an honor to help others in the collaborative process of counseling. As a trauma informed and EMDR therapist I am always committed to advocate and hold space for those who seek to be empowered and free from shame. We are many parts of one whole self and it is important to honor perseverance, respect resiliency, and be a part of the healing process towards peace, wholeness and personal growth.
