I understand how difficult it is to take the first steps towards seeking outside help. My purpose and passion is to be that resource for someone else while maintaining sensitivity to women's cultural and diverse issues. I was born and raised in North Carolina and I decided to move to Philadelphia to begin a career in counseling. Now based in Maryland, I serve clients in the DMV area.
Whether you are struggling with grief, depression, anxiety, or coping with current or past traumas, I want to give you the tools to begin the journey towards healing. So often we can feel stuck in patterns and painful experiences, especially when struggling with depression and anxiety. I use solution oriented, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients gain awareness and put therapy into practice.

THE GREATEST THING ABOUT BEING A THERAPIST:
Doing something outdoors...whether running, taking walks or having a picnic with friends. If I could be at the beach everyday I would!
IN BETWEEN SESSIONS, YOU CAN FIND ME:
Beyonce. I imagine we'd go out on her private yacht and have a seafood buffet while she tells why Destiny's Child *really* broke up.
WOULD LOVE TO HAVE LUNCH WITH:
To be an artist.
Macaroni and Cheese.
Our FREE workbook will walk you through the process!
