Growing up, I used to be self conscious about my sensitive nature. I struggled with loss, adjustments, and anxiety. With time, I learned that my sensitive and empathetic nature was something to be proud of and an asset to helping others.

My approach to treatment pulls from a combination of psychodynamic, humanistic, and behavioral theories. I believe starting with a person-centered approach highlights how each client is unique and therapy should be individualized to best meet their personal goals and needs. I use talk therapy techniques from CBT, Solution Based Casework, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. As an Art Therapist, I have an additional lens to support clients in creative ways (if you are up for it!) Taking steps towards change can feel overwhelming and anxiety provoking. I hope to help ease some of these worries and provide a safe space for you to be yourself
