I believe therapy is for everyone, and that no 'problem' is too big or too small. My prior work in mental health education, hotline and case management at sexual assault and domestic violence agencies, and bereavement counseling for substance-related loss have prepared me to assist with a variety of concerns clients bring to therapy. With experience both as a client and a counselor, I also understand the complex feelings that can accompany beginning therapy for the first time, or with a new therapist. I know personally the value of having a space to express yourself and your needs that is non-judgemental and rooted in community, compassion, and social justice; that is why I decided to work towards my masters in social work (MSW) and become a therapist. As an MSW intern at Therapy for Women Center I strive to foster that same supportive, safe environment for my clients.

My approach is person-centered, using a blend of psychodynamic, relational, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to meet each client's unique needs. As a queer social worker, I am grateful to work with clients within the lGBTQIA+ community and I aim to provide affirming and culturally-responsive care to all clients, especially those with marginalized identities. I enjoy collaborating with clients and using the therapeutic space for self-reflection and exploration, practicing coping and relational skills, and clebrating the strength and resilience of my clients.
